All you people out there in your late teens and early 20s! This could be one of the most icky blog post titles for you. Babies, talking to tummies, knitting socks, painting the room and the routine. Most of you wouldn’t want to do anything with any of these. Trust us, we have been there, felt that.
But, all that is about to change for us. Well not exactly for ALL of us at Edvento. One member of our Founders team already has a cute, little daughter. So he has already crossed the chasm from being a brash teenager to a responsible, caring father. He may be excused from this discourse.
Our product, our baby is on the way! Yes, the powers that ‘be’ have declared its ETA with more precision than ever. That has lead to some butterflies finding their way into our stomach and our heartbeats sounding more like a Harley. The moment of truth is here.
We have seen the sonography images. We have seen it taking shape. It looks healthy and strong. We have given it the best our chromosomes could, and some more. Now, it is about to face the outside world. It will be judged, it will be liked, it will be criticized, it may be pampered, it may be poo-poohed. Like any protective parent, we are quite anxious at this time. We want our baby to hold the stage and make its mark.
We will soon be announcing the news of its delivery. Hope you will bless it with your kindness. Help it gain its strength, encourage it do better, introduce it to new friends, buy it a new toy if you will, post its cute photos for everyone to see.
You are all welcome to the party! Let us just get out of the maternity ward.
